How to Turn Off Adblock on Internet Explorer

Are you tired of constantly seeing pop-up ads or banners while browsing the internet on Internet Explorer? Adblockers are a popular tool used to block these intrusive ads, but sometimes they can also block content that you want to see. If you’re looking to turn off adblock on Internet Explorer, follow these simple steps to regain access to the content you love.

Step 1: Open Internet Explorer

First, open Internet Explorer on your computer. You can do this by clicking on the Internet Explorer icon on your desktop or by searching for “Internet Explorer” in the Start menu.

Step 2: Access the Tools Menu

Once Internet Explorer is open, click on the gear icon located in the upper-right corner of the window. This will open the Tools menu.

Step 3: Select Internet Options

In the Tools menu, click on “Internet Options.” This will open a new window with various tabs.

Step 4: Navigate to the Security Tab

In the Internet Options window, click on the “Security” tab. This tab contains settings related to the security of your browser.

Step 5: Click on Trusted Sites

In the Security tab, you will see a list of zones on the left-hand side. Click on “Trusted Sites” to expand the options for this zone.

Step 6: Click on Sites

Under the Trusted Sites zone, click on “Sites.” This will open a new window where you can manage the sites that are considered trusted.

Step 7: Add the Website to Trusted Sites

In the “Add this website to the zone” field, enter the URL of the website you want to allow ads on. For example, if you want to allow ads on CNN.com, enter “www.cnn.com.” Then, click on “Add.”

Step 8: Click on Close

After adding the website to the Trusted Sites zone, click on “Close” to save the changes.

Step 9: Refresh the Website

Now, navigate to the website you have added to the Trusted Sites zone and refresh the page. You should now be able to see the ads that were previously blocked by the adblocker.

Step 10: Repeat for Other Websites

If you want to allow ads on other websites, repeat steps 6 to 9 for each website you want to add to the Trusted Sites zone.

By following these steps, you can easily turn off adblock on Internet Explorer and regain access to the content you love while still enjoying a more ad-free browsing experience.
